A decorated Mayan head measuring three meters (10 feet) at the base and sculptured out of stucco has been unearthed in northern Guatemala, near the border with Mexico. The sculpture had been buried for centuries under the thick jungle, and its presence may suggest the site could have been part of a Mayan city.

More than likely, we're under attack by a programmed bot that some loser-tard with nothing better to do has directed at our website just because they are a major league douche-face. That being said, I'm issuing an apology to any viewers of this site who might be bombarded with porn-viagra-spam when they visit the forum. We're getting hit with about 20+ spam messages a day here, and have been for the past several weeks.

I'm contacting the server to see if there's any way to stop this harassment, but in the meantime, be patient while I try to figure out a solution. I'm deleting and moving the porn-spam as quickly as I can, but unlike the loser-tard spammer, I'm a busy person and have better things to do than just hover around UPSIDEBACKWARDS 24 hours a day deleting bullshit messages.

I just finished reading your MONSTER TRILOGY and could tell from the start that this is definitely an instant classic of the “zombie apocalypse” sub-genre of horror literature, and just an all together great series of books even if you aren’t necessarily a fan of horror! When did you first realize that you wanted to be an author, and how did the genesis of the MONSTER TRILOGY first come into fruition?

-D.W.: I’ve always wanted to be a writer. I started when I was six years old. Thirty years later, I was getting a little frustrated that I’d never been published. So I put my new book online, thinking that at least people would get a chance to read it. Enough of them did that I got a book deal out of it. I was pretty excited.

Johnny Depp Pleads For Justice in Murder Trial:

You may expect Johnny Depp to be busy promoting his foray into 'Wonderland,' but the A-list actor has a bigger cause to champion: justice. Depp will appear on CBS's '48 Hours Mystery' on Saturday (2/27) to advocate the release of the "West Memphis Three," young men convicted in 1994 of murdering three boys during a satanic ritual.

Depp is not alone in his belief that the men were convicted on flimsy or fabricated evidence. He joins stars like Eddie Vedder, Winona Ryder, the Dixie Chicks and Disney teen star Demi Lovato in insisting the men were actually found guilty for their fascination with heavy-metal music, Stephen King and the occult.

"I firmly believe Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley are totally innocent. It was a need for swift justice to placate the community," Depp says on Saturday's show. "Damien Echols is on death row to be killed by lethal injection."
